HB 1159 Health Care (2013 Session)
Health Care: Establishes criteria for designating Level II trauma centers in areas with limited access to trauma center services; provides for expedited review of certificate-of-need for licensed skilled nursing facilities in qualifying retirement communities; limits number of beds per retirement community that can be added through expedited review; authorizes specialty-licensed children's hospitals to provide obstetrical services under certain circumstances; requires that individual or group insurance policy or contract or HMO contract that provides coverage for cancer treatment medications provide coverage for orally administered cancer treatment medications; provides appropriation to DOH to fund administration of prescription drug monitoring program. Effective Date: June 7, 2013
