HB 1103 Services for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities (2025 Session)
Services for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities : Requires APD to post its quarterly reconciliation reports on its website within specified timeframe; requires agency to participate in transition planning activities & to post total number of individuals in each priority category on its website; establishes Statewide Family Care Council; requires local family care councils to report policy changes & program recommendations to statewide council in annual report; provides for appointments of local council members; provides for creation of family-led nominating committees; revises implementation & eligibility requirements of pilot program for individuals with developmental disabilities; requires APD to transmit to AHCA weekly data files of specified clients; requires AHCA to provide call center for specified purposes & to coordinate with DCF & APD to disseminate information about pilot program; requires participating plans to conduct individualized assessment of each enrollee within specified timeframe for certain purposes & to offer certain services to such enrollees; requires AHCA to conduct monitoring & evaluations & require corrective actions or payment of penalties; removes coordination requirements for agency when submitting certain reports, establishing specified measures, & conducting quality assurance monitoring of pilot program; revises specified dates for submitting certain status reports. Effective Date: July 1, 2025
