Surrendered Infants : Revises definition of "infant"; defines "infant safety device"; authorizes certain hospitals, EMS stations, & fire stations to use infant safety devices to accept surrendered infants if device meets specified criteria; requires such hospitals, EMS stations, & fire stations to monitor inside of device 24 hours per day & physically check & test devices at specified intervals; provides additional requirements for certain fire stations using such devices. Effective Date: July 1, 2025
