Emergency Services: Authorizes ambulance drivers to use red lights on privately owned vehicle in certain circumstances; expands exception to prohibition on using red lights to include ambulance drivers; authorizes ambulance drivers to use red warning signals in specified circumstances; revises restrictions on warning signals; authorizes ambulance drivers to use red lights on their personal vehicle in certain circumstances; expands exception of use of red lights on personal vehicle to include ambulance drivers; provides limitation as to when ambulance drivers can use certain warning signals; revises requirements for active first responder agencies to receive certain exemption; removes limitation on number of exemptions that may be granted. Effective Date: July 1, 2025
