Summary
Storage and Disposal of Prescription Drugs and Sharps: Requires DOH & DEP to conduct study of safe collection & proper disposal of sharps; requires departments to make specified assessment of use of sharps in home; establishes collection methods to be considered in conducting study; requires departments to submit specified report to Governor & Legislature by certain date; provides for appropriation; provides requirements for establishments that store, warehouse, or hold certain prescription drugs solely for purpose of destruction. Effective Date: July 1, 2025
