SB 1148 Postsecondary Education (2014 Session)
Postsecondary Education; Requiring the State Board of Education to review baccalaureate degree programs currently offered by Florida College System institutions, rather than proposed baccalaureate degree programs; revising the purpose of the Florida College System with regard to baccalaureate degrees; revising a Florida College System institution’s primary responsibilities and secondary role as they relate to providing upper-level instruction and awarding baccalaureate degrees; increasing the annual maximum number of scholarships that may be awarded in the Rosewood Family Scholarship Program, etc. Effective Date: Upon becoming a law and shall apply retroactively to March 31, 2014
