Plantation Acres Improvement District, Broward County: Provides that Plantation Acres Improvement District, independent special district, shall become dependent district of City of Plantation; provides that assets, liabilities, financial allocations, & written contracts of independent district remain in full force & effect & shall be those of dependent district; provides that city council & city mayor shall assume offices of board of supervisors of dependent district; provides that resolutions & policies of independent district remain in effect until amended, revised, or repealed by city; requires adoption of provisions under certain circumstances; provides for dissolution of district as independent special district; provides transition; requires referendum. Effective Date: only if a majority of those qualified electors of the Plantation Acres Improvement District, an independent special district, voting in accordance with chapter 2002-367, Laws of Florida, in a referendum held pursuant to this act approve the referendum question in section 3
