Criminal Offenses: Provides criminal penalties for persons who commit any act that causes, tends to cause, encourages, or contributes to child committing offenses of specified severities; provides criminal penalties for persons who induce or endeavor to induce, by act, threat, command, or persuasion, child to commit offenses of specified severities; creates offense of causing or enticing minor to commit, or in presence of minor committing, animal cruelty; creates offense of causing or enticing minor to commit, or in presence of minor committing, fighting or baiting animals; creates offense of causing or enticing minor to commit, or in presence of minor committing, sexual activities involving animals; increases level on offense severity ranking chart for fighting or baiting animals; ranks offenses created by act on offense severity ranking chart. Effective Date: October 1, 2026
