Summary
Diabetes Management In Schools: Authorizes public school acquire & maintain supply of glucagon through specified means; authorizes specified health care practitioners to issue prescription for glucagon in public school's name; provides for adoption of specified protocols relating to administration of undesignated glucagon; provides requirements for administration of undesignated glucagon; requires parental notification after administration of glucagon; requires SBE in cooperation with DOH to adopt specified rules; provides certain persons & entities with immunity from civil & criminal liability. Effective Date: July 1, 2025
