Summary
Unlawful Actions Concerning Real Property: Authorizes property owner or agent to request sheriff in county in which owner's commercial real property is located to immediately remove persons unlawfully occupying commercial real property; requires owners or agents to submit specified completed & verified complaint; authorizes sheriff to arrest unauthorized person for legal cause; prohibits unlawfully detaining, or occupying or trespassing upon, commercial real property; prohibits certain listing or advertising for sale, or renting or leasing, real property. Effective Date: July 1, 2025
