Door Alarms for Multifamily Residential Properties: Requires certain properties to install & maintain door alarms on certain doors beginning on specified date; specifies person responsible for installing & maintaining such door alarms; requires door alarms to be inspected annually; requires documentation of such inspection be maintained for certain length of time; requires door alarms to be compliant with Florida Building Code; requires DBPR to enforce this act & authorizes department to use any enforcement action authorized by law; provides administrative fines. Effective Date: July 1, 2025
