Summary
Expedited Foreclosure Proceedings for Abandoned Real Property: Provides factors for determining if residential real property is vacant; authorizes mortgagee to file motion with court to determine if certain property is abandoned real property; requires mortgagee to provide notice & provides requirements for such notice; requires mortgagee to conspicuously post notice on subject property; specifies time frame in which court can schedule hearing on motion; provides requirements for court. Effective Date: July 1, 2024
