Corporal Punishment: Requires charter schools to comply with corporal punishment laws; removes provisions authorizing teachers to administer corporal punishment; provides duties & responsibilities for principals relating to corporal punishment; requires specified notification be provided to parents; provides requirements for student to be disciplined using corporal punishment; prohibits use of corporal punishment on specified students; provides reporting requirements. Effective Date: July 1, 2024
