HB 5 State Officer Post-service Lobbying Restrictions (2018 Session)
State Officer Post-service Lobbying Restrictions: Prohibits legislators & statewide elected officers from personally representing another person or entity for compensation before any state government body or state agency except judicial tribunals for specified time period following vacation of office; deletes prohibition on former legislator from acting as lobbyist before executive branch agency, agency official, or employee for specified period following vacation of office. Effective Date: July 1, 2018
