Local Tax Referenda; Providing that a municipality may increase the millage rate of ad valorem taxes levied on real and tangible personal property only by a vote of a specified percentage of the municipality’s governing body approving the increase; revising the voter approval threshold required to pass a referendum to adopt or amend local government discretionary sales surtaxes when the referendum is held at any date other than a general election, etc. Effective Date: 7/1/2018
