Summary
Building-related Contracting; Specifying that provisions regulating certified electrical contractors and certified alarm system contractors do not prevent such contractors from acting as a prime contractor or from subcontracting work to other licensed contractors under certain circumstances; requiring the Florida Building Commission to use certain entities and codes for updates to the Florida Building Code; providing that certain technical amendments to the Florida Building Code which are adopted by a local government are not rendered void when the code is updated, etc. Effective Date: 7/1/2017
