Summary
Criminal History Records: Prohibits person or entity engaged in publishing or otherwise disseminating arrest booking photographs from soliciting or accepting payment to remove photograph; authorizes person whose photograph is published to request in writing that it be removed; requires removal of photograph within specified timeframe after written request; authorizes civil action to enjoin such publishing & civil penalty, attorney fees, & court costs; requires Criminal Justice Information Program to administratively seal criminal history records of adult or minor upon notification by clerk of court. Effective Date: July 1, 2018
