Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices: Requires claimant to provide demand letter to motor vehicle dealer as condition precedent to initiating civil litigation, including arbitration, against such dealer under Florida Deceptive & Unfair Trade Practices Act; provides for expiration of demand letter after specified period; provides for tolling of applicable time limitations for initiating actions; requires stay of civil litigation, including arbitration, brought without compliance with demand letter requirements; provides an additional opportunity for claimants to comply with specified provisions; provides condition that constitutes waiver of notice; provides for applicability; requires that specified notice be provided to consumers & acknowledged before provisions may apply. Effective Date: July 1, 2013
