Summary
Mangrove Replanting and Restoration: Requires DEP to adopt specified rules for mangrove replanting & restoration; conduct, in consultation with Division of Insurance Agent & Agency Services, statewide feasibility study regarding use of mangroves & other nature-based solutions for flood insurance purposes; & submit report to Governor & Legislature by specified date. Effective Date: July 1, 2024
