Summary
Building Permit Applications to Local Governments: Requires local government to post & update information on its website; requires electronic submission of application; authorizes local government to provide notice of expiration within specified timeframe; prohibits local government from issuing permit unless specified information is included with permit & provided to applicant; revises application process; prohibits local government from requesting additional information from & imposing additional requirements on applicant other than those posted on its website; revises amount by which permit fee must be reduced in certain instances; provides limitation on specified fee. Effective Date: July 1, 2023
