Summary
Unmanned Aircraft Systems Act: Removes provision requiring certain persons & governmental entities to apply to FAA to restrict or limit operation of drones in close proximity to certain infrastructure or facilities; removes provision allowing drone operating in transit for commercial purposes to operate over critical infrastructure facility; provides for future sunset of definition of "critical infrastructure facility." Effective Date: July 1, 2023
