Victims of Reform School Abuse: Requires person seeking certification as victim of Florida reform school abuse to apply to DOS by specified date; authorizes specified persons to apply on behalf of decedent; requires DOS to review & process completed application within certain timeframe; prohibits DOS from denying an application for specified reasons; requires DOS to submit list of certified victims to Legislature; provides exceptions from specified requirements for crime victim compensation eligibility for victims. Effective Date: upon becoming a law
