Child Safety; Defining the term “motor vehicle”; requiring, by a specified date, that motor vehicles be equipped with an alarm system that prompts the driver to inspect the motor vehicle for unattended occupants before exiting; requiring the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles to adopt by rule minimum standards for such systems and to maintain a list of approved alarm manufacturers and alarm systems; revising transportation safety minimum standards for the licensure of child care facilities, etc. Effective Date: 7/1/2022
