Anesthesiologist Assistants; Revising the definitions of the terms “anesthesiologist” and “direct supervision”; revising requirements for the written protocol between an anesthesiologist assistant and a supervising anesthesiologist; revising provisions related to duties and functions anesthesiologist assistants may perform; providing that a certain applicant for clinical hospital privileges may not be denied such privileges if the applicant’s supervising anesthesiologist is a staff member in good standing at that hospital, with an exception, etc. Effective Date: 7/1/2022
