Broward County: Creates independent special district to provide & fund senior services in Broward County; provides for governing body to be known as Senior Services Council of Broward County; provides for council's membership, terms, vacancies in office, compensation, powers, functions, duties, fiscal year, & budget procedures; authorizes levy of ad valorem taxes annually; provides for additional district powers, duties, responsibilities, & obligations; provides limitations; provides for dissolution of district; provides for referendum & ballot question. Effective Date: upon its approval by a majority vote of those qualified electors of Broward County voting in a referendum to be held in conjunction with the general election to be held in Broward County in November 2022
