Summary
Requirements for Pari-mutuel Permitholders to Conduct Racing or Games: Revises pari-mutuel wagering license application requirements; prohibits greyhound permitholders from conducting live racing; revises provisions relating to permitholders' conduct of live racing or games, intertrack wagering, & simulcasting; revises provisions relating to slot machine & cardroom licenses; prohibits conversion of certain permits; removes certain provisions relating to racing greyhounds; prohibits person convicted of bookmaking from attending pari-mutuel facility; requires permittee to display certain warnings relating to bookmaking; revises provisions relating to leasing pari-mutuel facilities; authorizes greyhound permitholders to receive certain broadcasts & accept specified wagers. Effective Date: July 1, 2021, but only if HB 7053 or similar legislation takes effect
