Summary
Broward County: Creates independent special district to provide & fund senior services in Broward County; provides for governing body to be known as Senior Services Council of Broward County; provides for such council's membership, powers & duties, & budget procedures; authorizes levy of ad valorem taxes not to exceed specified amount; provides for additional district powers, duties, responsibilities, & obligations & for dissolution of district; provides for referendum & ballot question. Effective Date: upon its approval by a majority vote of those qualified electors of Broward County voting in a referendum to be held in conjunction with the general election to be held in Broward County in November 2022
