Certain Defendants With Mental Illness; Exempting certain fiscally constrained counties from local match requirements for specified grants; encouraging communities to apply for specified grants to establish misdemeanor mental health jail diversion programs; authorizing the court to refer a misdemeanor defendant charged with a misdemeanor crime for certain evaluation or assessment if a party or the court raises a concern regarding the misdemeanor defendant’s competency to proceed due to a mental disorder, etc. Effective Date: 7/1/2020
