Children's Services Financial Audit Reports: Requires districts provide children's services to have annual financial audits conducted; specifies timeframe within which audit must be conducted; specifies circumstances when district must pay for audit; specifies contents of audit report; specifies auditor duties relative to completed audit; requires council's explanation of audit report & additional information filed with district & county within specified time period; specifies time period within which each audit report must be filed with Auditor General; requires Auditor General to notify Legislative Auditing Committee if council failed to take corrective action within specified period of time; specifies actions committee may take to assure appropriate corrective action has been taken. Effective Date: July 1, 2019
