Use of Deadly Force: Defines term "serious bodily injury"; requires certain law enforcement agencies to collect & report specified information regarding use of deadly force to FDLE; requires department to provide such agency with standardized form for reporting such information & to provide for electronic submission of such information; specifies minimum retention period for such information; requires department, in consultation with specified associations, to develop & maintain database for retention of such information. Effective Date: July 1, 2018
