Prescription Drug Monitoring Program: Provides additional grounds for discipline of licensee of DOH by regulatory board; revises provisions relating to database of controlled substance dispensing information; revises program funding requirements; requires prescriber to access & view certain patient information in database before initially prescribing controlled substance; provides requirements related to release of identifying information; revises information retention requirements; revises provisions required in contract with direct-support organization; requires state to use certain properties & funds to support program; provides for adoption of specific rules by department. Effective Date: July 1, 2014
