Involuntary Examinations under the Baker Act: Reordering & providing definitions; updating references to DCF; authorizes physician assistants & advanced registered nurse practitioners to initiate involuntary examinations under Baker Act of persons believed to have mental illness; provides education & continuing education requirements for such physician assistants & advanced registered nurse practitioners. Effective Date: July 1, 2014
