HB 507 Surcharge on Cigarettes (2014 Session)
Surcharge on Cigarettes: Designates act as "Youth Smoking Prevention Act"; increases surcharge rates applicable to packages of cigarettes containing various quantities of cigarettes of specified weights & lengths; establishes separate fee rollback account in specified trust fund; requires specified amounts of surcharge on packages of cigarettes to be deposited in such separate fee rollback account; provides requirements & procedures with respect to Legislature's anticipated use of such funds to incrementally roll back certain fee increases previously enacted. Effective Date: July 1, 2014
