Summary
Public Records/Personal Identifying Information/License to Carry a Concealed Weapon or Firearm; Creating an exemption from public records requirements for certain personal identifying information held by the tax collector when an individual applies for a license to carry a concealed weapon or firearm pursuant to specified provisions; providing for retroactive application of the exemption; providing for disclosure of such information under specified conditions; providing for review and repeal of the exemption; providing a statement of public necessity, etc. Effective Date: This act shall take effect on the same date that SB 544 or similar legislation takes effect, if such legislation is adopted in the same legislative session or an extension thereof and becomes a law.
