HB 1423 Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (2009 Session)
Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission: Increases certain vehicle title certificate & license plate fees; revises basis & specified penalties for certain BUI violations; revises vessel operation & identification card requirements; repeals & revises provisions relating to regulation of vessels & imposition of certain vessel fees by municipalities & counties; revises provisions for waterway navigation, safety, & information markers; revises specified vessel registration & identification; specifies prohibition for vessels equipped with certain fuel containers or equipment & transportation of fuel; revises recreational license & permit exemption; increases fee amounts for waterfowl, wild turkey, snook, spiny lobster, management area, special use, and recreational user permits; provides for management area permit & fee for outdoor recreational activities other than hunting and fishing; provides for deer permit & fee; requires FWCC to prepare & submit annual report to Governor & Legislature; provides for confiscation & disposition of illegally taken wildlife & freshwater & saltwater fish; revises provisions for lobster trap certificates; specifies activities relating to alligators requiring licenses & fees; provides penalty for specified exhibitions & sales of wildlife; revises application of specified violations relating to alligators & crocodiles; revises application of captive wildlife penalty provisions; provides penalty, enforcement, & remedy provisions for violations relating to aquatic weeds & plants; directs FWCC & DEP to establish pilot program relating to anchoring or mooring vessels under certain conditions; transfers Invasive Plant Control Trust Fund in DEP to FWCC; provides type two transfer of Bureau of Invasive Plant Management in DEP to FWCC; ratifies related actions taken pursuant to ch. 2008-150, LOF, & resulting interagency agreement; ...
