SB 1080 Transportation (2026 Session)
Transportation; Requiring the Department of Transportation and any impacted local government to increase the minimum perception-reaction time for steady yellow signals at certain intersections by a specified amount of time; authorizing enforcement of restrictive school zone speed limits through the use of speed detection systems under certain conditions; revising provisions relating to the placement and installation of certain speed detection systems and components thereof; revising a limitation on the use of videos and images recorded as part of a school bus infraction detection system; revising provisions relating to penalties for certain failures to comply, etc. Effective Date: Except as otherwise expressly provided in this act, this act shall take effect July 1, 2026
