SB 1526 Health Insurance Claims (2025 Session)
Health Insurance Claims; Prohibiting a contract between a health insurer and a physician from containing certain restrictions on payment methods; requiring a health insurer to make certain notifications and obtain a physician’s consent before paying a claim to the physician through electronic funds transfer; prohibiting a health insurer from charging a fee to transmit a payment to a physician through Automated Clearing House (ACH) transfer unless the physician has consented to such fee; prohibiting a health insurer from denying a certain claims submitted by a physician, etc. Effective Date: 7/1/2025
