Summary
Cardiac Emergencies; Revising a requirement for instruction on cardiopulmonary resuscitation and the use of an automated external defibrillator; requiring each public school to develop a cardiac emergency response plan (CERP); requiring school officials to work with local emergency service providers to integrate the CERP into emergency responder protocols; providing a requirement for automated external defibrillator placement, etc. Effective Date: 7/1/2025
