Summary
Household Moving Services: Revises requirements for estimates, contracts, advertisements, & lists provided to DACS by moving brokers; prohibits certain persons from operating as or holding themselves out to be mover or moving broker; revises alternative coverage requirements; revises requirements for contracts & estimates for prospective shippers; provides limitations & prohibitions for moving brokers; requires moving brokers to make specified disclosure; prohibits moving brokers' fees from including certain costs. Effective Date: July 1, 2023
