Prohibited Preferences; Prohibiting executive agencies from using racial or gender set-asides, preferences, or quotas when making certain decisions; revising factors local governments are authorized to consider in making decisions regarding local bids and contracts for public construction works; revising the criteria each agency uses to evaluate professional services; deleting a provision requiring consideration of minority and gender representation when making appointments to the statewide advisory board for the Florida Small Business Development Center Network; deleting provisions requiring that preferences be given to specified entities seeking to attract minority conventions to Florida, etc. Effective Date: 7/1/2026
