Summary
Department of Health: Revises eligibility requirements for dental student loan repayment program; revises renewal period for certification of specified course; renaming compassionate use registry as medical marijuana registry; prohibits medical marijuana treatment center from being located within certain distance of specified areas; revises DOH duties relating to Early Steps Program & Early Steps Extended Option; revises eligibility requirements for developmental evaluation & early intervention services; revises transition to education requirements for children with disabilities; provides that committing criminal offense relating to murder is cause for immediate suspension of health care practitioner's license; revises eligible individuals for University of Florida Center for Autism & Neurodevelopment's autism micro-credential. Effective Date: July 1, 2026
