HB 501 Construction Disruption Assistance (2026 Session)

Construction Disruption Assistance: Creates Construction Impact Relief Revolving Loan Program; providing requirements for program; providing reporting requirements for Department of Commerce; provides that COM or any of its officers, employees, agents, or contractors are not liable in any civil action arising out of or relating to specified duties of program; provides that COM is not liable for any damages resulting from COM denying applicant loan or delaying loan disbursement or from certain activities; provides construction; provides that certain determinations, prioritizations, & decisions made are deemed final agency action & not subject to further judicial review; requires COM, by specified date, to submit annual report containing certain information to Governor & Legislature. Effective Date: July 1, 2026
