Summary
Carbon Sequestration: Creates Carbon Sequestration Task Force adjunct to DEP; requires task force to submit specified reports to Secretary of Environmental Protection, Governor, & Legislature; provides that participation in certain programs or activities is voluntary; requires certain frameworks or enforcement mechanisms to have explicit legislative approval. Effective Date: July 1, 2025
