Summary
Building Permits for Single-family Dwellings: Prohibits expiration of certain building permits issued by county before certain timeframe or specified event, whichever is later; provides that certain persons are not subject to discipline for performing job without applicable permits if otherwise authorized by law; prohibits expiration of certain building permits issued by county before certain timeframe or specified event, whichever is later; prohibits local government from requiring building permits for certain projects; provides exception; requires contractor who performs work without building permit to maintain certain records; requires local government to issue building permit for certain building permit applications within specified timeframe; specifies that certain permit applications are deemed approved by local government; requires local government to issue such permit within certain timeframe. Effective Date: July 1, 2025
