Construction Regulations: Prohibits local governments from adopting or enforcing any ordinances or policy to prohibit property owners from installing synthetic turf on their land, or single-family residential areas; provides procedures to be used by local governmental entity when receiving price quote from contractor pursuant to change order; provides penalties for failure to follow procedures; provides applicability; prohibits state or political subdivision from taking specified actions against certain bidders for construction work; prohibits local governments from requiring copies of specified documents for issuance of building permit. Effective Date: July 1, 2025
