SB 1624 Energy Resources (2024 Session)
Energy Resources; Providing that resilience facilities are a permitted use in certain land use categories in local government comprehensive plans and specified districts if certain criteria are met; prohibiting amendments after a specified date to a local government’s comprehensive plan, land use map, zoning districts, or land development regulations if such amendments would conflict with resiliency facility classification; requiring the Department of Management Services to develop a Florida Humane Preferred Energy Products List in consultation with the Department of Commerce and the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services; including development districts as a type of political subdivision for purposes of preemption over utility service restrictions, etc. Effective Date: 7/1/2024
