Summary
Florida State Psychiatric Hospital: Establishes Florida State Psychiatric Hospital in specified location to provide specialized care for specified individuals; requires hospital to establish admittance program for specified individuals; provides requirements for length of individual's stay; provides hospital & its admittance program operate in conjunction with specified laws; prohibits program from being used for specified individuals; requires DOH, in conjunction with DCF, to jointly oversee implementation & administration of program. Effective Date: July 1, 2024
