SB 1718 Prescription Contraceptive Coverage (2018 Session)
Prescription Contraceptive Coverage; Requiring health insurance policies and health maintenance contracts, respectively, to provide coverage for certain contraceptive drugs, devices, products, and procedures without imposing cost-sharing requirements; prohibiting such policies and contracts from imposing restrictions or delays on the required coverage; requiring religious employers who are exempt to provide notice to their employees and prospective employees in a specified manner; providing that a policy or contract established or maintained by an eligible organization complies with coverage requirements if the organization provides a self-certification to issuers providing coverage or a specified notice to the Department of Health, etc. Effective Date: 7/1/2018
