Summary
Telepharmacy: Authorizes registered pharmacy technicians to dispense drugs under certain circumstances; provides permit requirements for remote dispensing site pharmacies; provides requirements & prohibitions for remote dispensing site pharmacies; requires the prescription department manager to visit the remote dispensing site pharmacy; requires work experience for registered pharmacy techs; prohibits registered pharmacy techs to perform certain compounding; authorizes Florida licensed pharmacists to be the prescription drug manager at more than one remote dispensing site pharmacy. Effective Date: July 1, 2018
