Summary
Statewide Medicaid Managed Care Program: Revises designation & county makeup of regions for procurement of health plans to participate in Medicaid managed care program; requires preference for plans establishing comprehensive long-term care plan; provides fines & sanctions on managed care plans that fail to comply with claim payment requirements; requires agency to seek federal approval to require Medicaid enrollees to engage in work activities & establish monthly premiums payable by enrollees; requires plans & providers to negotiate payment rates, methods, & terms to provide services to enrollees. Effective Date: July 1, 2017
